The Organized (and Always Stylish!) Bride

Azweddingjournal_2300_2

With all the wedding planning guides and self-help books out there, you may be on overload just sifting through the piles of advice! We suggest you go back to the basics to stay organized, and to remain as lighthearted as possible during the process. The little A to Z's Wedding Journal is a good beginning. This pocket-sized notebook is tabbed with topics from bridesmaids to invitations and photography to gift registries, making it the ideal place to jot down any details on the go. We also love the colors—periwinkle for the modern girl and ivory for the traditional bride.

Shaunna also shared her latest find on the paper scene a few posts back. SusyJack* offers a practical and stylish line of contemporary desk accessories that will make your organizational tasks fun. The Monday-to-Sunday pins are perfect for those of you who prefer a visual reminder of the day's to-do list.

The_list_cover_2 Of course, our very own wedding journal, The List, is another fabulous resource. We included a print edition in the current issue of Pacific Weddings, and you can also download a desktop copy from our new website pacificweddings.com. This "little black book" includes a list of our preferred vendors, inspirational pictures and room for personal notes. It is the perfect size to tuck in your handbag.

If you're like us, we tend to have several places in which we organize our thoughts, including our iPhones (who can live without them?!), a personal agenda or two, and brightly colored notebooks to suit our moods. Hable Construction's Pumpkin Cosmos Agenda is a chic choice, and we love the matching spiral notebooks, too.

In addition to this paper trail, you will need a spot to store your collection of Pacific Weddings along with any other bridal magazines you want to save. Head to Ikea for the most economic solutions. They offer several magazine storage boxes like this stylish set—all five for just $4.95. (You gotta love Ikea prices!)
